This intriguing documentary delves inside the high-stakes world of special FX make-up and creature design through the eyes of one of the industry’s key players, Greg Nicotero, who currently sits at the top of Hollywood as co-executive producer and special make-up effects designer on AMC's monster hit, 'The Walking Dead'. But back in 1989, making monsters was just a dream, until Greg quit medical school and headed for Hollywood. Together with gore masters Howard Berger and Robert Kurtzman, Nicotero went on to create KNB EFX Group, one of the most prolific make-up effects studios in the world.

They agree to make an indie film together without Hollywood influence in San Francisco, but when the cameras start rolling we see that People Persons is having a VERY hard time telling the difference between reality and the film itself. As cast members start to die, and the film crew begin to disappear, Sherman loses control and fears for his life. The cast and crew begin to slowly become infected by People Person's ego and fame...literally! Or is this just all part of the movie? Is this real, or just part of the reel?
